If you are the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or another leader in your setting with responsibility for safeguarding, pastoral care and/or technology implementation and use, our comprehensive Safeguarding AI for Leaders (SAIL) course will ensure that you have the confidence and understanding to lead on safe and ethical AI use in your setting

To implement the rollout of safe AI practices across your setting, it is essential that all staff have knowledge and understanding of how AI could impact their safeguarding responsibilities. To enable this, we also offer a Safeguarding AI Essentials (SAIE) course, for all staff and governors
​
Suitable for settings of all sizes, we offer packages for schools, MATs and other educational organisations. Safeguarding AI for Leaders (SAIL), is available as a stand-alone course, or bundled alongside our Safeguarding AI Essentials (SAIE) course as part of a package.

Safeguarding AI for Leaders 2024/25 (SAIL)

Who is it for? Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), pastoral leaders, and other school leaders.

What will you learn? Develop and lead safe and ethical AI policies, audit safeguarding procedures, identify priority projects, engage stakeholders, and ensure compliance.

Benefits: Gain confidence, access resources and templates, ensure compliance, learn from real-life stories, network with peers, receive ongoing support for a year.

Duration: 4-5 hours with 12 months of access
Safeguarding AI Essentials 2024/25 (SAIE)

Who is it for? All setting staff including teachers, support roles, and governors.

What will you learn? Understand the risks and benefits of AI in education, develop responsible AI practices, maintain student safety online, and contribute to a whole-school approach.

Benefits: Gain confidence using AI, ensure student safety, access ongoing support and resources, collaborate with peers, scale safe AI practices across your setting.

Duration: 1 hour

Package A: 1 x SAIL and up to 5 Safeguarding AI Essentials (SAIE) courses (£545 + VAT). Suitable for smaller schools or for training a key implementation team including staff with responsibility for safeguarding, pastoral care and IT

Package B: 1 x SAIL and up to 15 SAIE. (£695 + VAT). Suitable for primary school leadership teams and teachers or secondary school DSL plus pastoral teams and senior leadership team

Package C: 1 x SAIL and up to 40 SAIE. (£995 + VAT). Suitable for rollout to key staff across a small trust or for all staff in a larger school

Package D: 3 x SAIL and up to 100 SAIE. (£2,485 + VAT). Suitable for rollout to key staff across a larger trust
